Lamorak is often touted as one of the strongest of Arthur's Knights of the Round Table, and likely is, in terms of pure strength. He has always had a crush on Morgause; who Lamorak has an affair with after being named a Grail Knight. Gaheris catches Lamorak and Morgause in the act, and lashes out in a fury, killing his own mother. This whole event further enflames the feud between the family of Pellinore and the family of Lot.
