Sir Geoffrey de Liste was a famous tournament expert during Arthur's reign. He was frequently the royal adjudicator for jousts, melees, and duels of honor. His knowledge of the proper forms and etiquette for tournaments was unequaled. It's rumored that jousting lists were so named in his honor.
