Baron

Barons are the lowest rank of major nobility but still own a fief and significant land holdings. They are permitted to wear a small coronet bearing six large pearls evenly spaced around the head. The coronet lacks any other adornment common on those of higher stations. A baron is referred to with "Lord" the general term for noblemen ("Lady" for baronesses).
